Indonesia exports 206,700 tons of coffee in first half of 2025

JAKARTA, 13 October (BelTA - ANTARA) - Throughout the first half of 2025, Indonesia exported 206.7 thousand tons of coffee to various destinations, including the United States, European Union countries, the Middle East, and fellow Southeast Asian nations.

In a press statement quoted, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) described the favorable export volume as proof of the growing global competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs.

“Indonesia is among the world’s largest coffee producers, with more than 90 percent of plantations managed by smallholders,” the ministry’s Deputy for Medium Enterprises, Bagus Rachman, stated.
