Minsk, Istanbul technoparks sign memorandum of understanding

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) - Minsk City Technopark and Teknopark Istanbul have signed a memorandum of understanding during a visit of Belarusian business delegation to Türkiye, the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) told BelTA.

The Minsk branch of the BelCCI continues to steadily strengthen business ties between Belarus and Türkiye, with a special focus on technological cooperation. The visit resulted in an important milestone, Minsk City Technopark and Teknopark Istanbul signed a memorandum of understanding, creating a solid foundation for joint projects in promising sectors: microelectronics, robotics, laser and biotechnology.

Apart from that, a direct B2B dialogue took place at the Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON) in Kocaeli where Belarusian and Turkish entrepreneurs discussed specific cases and industrial cooperation opportunities.

The delegation’s busy program features a detailed introduction to the infrastructure and capabilities of Teknopark Istanbul as well as active work at the international construction expo YAPI - Turkeybuild Istanbul 2026. Such step-by-step interaction not only strengthens existing partnerships but also opens new horizons for entering adjacent markets, emphasizing the complementarity of the technological competencies of the two countries, the Minsk branch of the BelCCI noted.
