GRODNO, 29 April (BelTA) - Belarus is a revelation, and I would really love to live here. A Russian tourist Inna Morozova shared her opinion with a BelTA correspondent.
Inna Morozova is from the city of Tolyatti in Samara Oblast. Together with her tour group, she is visiting various cities in Belarus. The tourists have visited Minsk, Brest, Mir, and Nesvizh. On 29 April they were in Grodno. Several more fascinating destinations in Belarus still await the group. “For me, Belarus is a revelation. Our group is large, and there was one person who wanted to come here,” Inna Morozova said. “At first, I thought it wouldn’t be interesting. But I have fallen in love with the nature here, it’s simply impossible not to. The forests are simply majestic. I look around and realize I would love to live here. I have never seen anything like this.”
“Belarusian cities are clean and very beautiful. I think the people who live here really love their land and try to keep it in good condition. You can see people do it with love,” the tourist said.
Inna Morozova added that the organized tour is extensive and interesting. “I can’t digest all the impressions, my memory is already failing me. I would highly recommend this place to my friends. I share photos on social media to show what Belarus is like,” she noted. “Our tour operator did a great job. I don’t know how we will say goodbye to our guide, he exceeded all my expectations. He talks about his country with such love.”
Aleksei Semenov from Rostov-on-Don is also in the tour group. “How did we end up in Belarus? We thought: we have never been here, so why not go? Besides, I have friends from Belarus. They were born and lived here and then moved to Russia as children. So I already had some idea about the country,” he explained.
The Russian tourist added that thanks to this trip to Belarus, he was able to see the country in a new light and form his own impression. “Everyone says how clean it is here, a hundred percent of them say that. I can’t even describe how well-kept everything is. It’s just amazing. The food was delicious. And we stayed at different hotels, and the meals were always very good. The whole trip was well-organized, with no hiccups or delays. The impressions are nothing but positive,” Aleksei Semenov said.
“Of course, we will definitely come again, but not on a guided tour, on our own, so we can spend more time in different places. Because just visiting the Brest Fortress alone takes at least a day: an hour and a half is nothing,” Aleksei Semenov said. “In Grodno, for example, I was impressed by the architecture. I am a civil engineer, so I can’t help but admire the historical buildings and the restoration work being done here, the quality is excellent. It's worthy of respect.” He also noted that there are very beautiful women in Belarus. “Yesterday I called my eldest son and told him we are definitely going to Belarus to find him a bride,” he said.
