Draft agenda of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting approved

MOSCOW, 15 July (BelTA) - At a meeting in Vitebsk the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the draft agenda of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting which is due in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan on 25-26 August, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina told the media in Moscow on 15 July, BelTA has learned.

"The agenda includes issues on priority integration infrastructure projects in transport, on financing industrial cooperation in the EAEU, on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company," Iya Malkina said. “The parties are expected to discuss the preparation of an international agreement on the formation of a common gas market in the EAEU, a draft agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market, amendments to the EAEU Treaty in terms of the procedure for levying indirect taxes on electronic trade in goods and a number of others.”

The meeting of the EEC Council in Vitebsk was attended by the deputy prime ministers of the EAEU member states. Belarus was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko.
