MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The Raubichi Winter Sports Center has hosted competition for the final medals at the 2026 Belarusian Biathlon Championship, BelTA has learned.
Alena Kulak secured victory in the women’s mass start. Hanna Sola fought hard but had to settle for silver after seven penalty laps, crossing the line 31 seconds back. Viktoryia Shashkova claimed bronze, finishing 47 seconds behind the winner. In the men’s competition, Ilya Auseyenka claimed gold, finishing nearly a minute ahead of silver medalist Mikita Labastau. Aleksandr Golyak rounded out the podium with bronze.
The junior women’s podium featured Hanna Makarskaya, Anastasiya Titova, and Valeriya Vecherskaya. In the junior men’s race, Maksim Buinitsky, Andrei Kolbanov, and Aleksandr Sknarin claimed the top three spots. The day prior, Hanna Sola and Pavel Belko were crowned national champions in the sprint. Top athletes of the national team Anton Smolski and Dzinara Smolskaya did not compete at the Raubichi tournament.
