MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – More than 400 vehicles are waiting to enter Poland at the Belarusian border, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
“The largest number of trucks is gathered in front of the Polish border checkpoints. At Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side), a total of 310 trucks are waiting to enter the EU, at Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa) – 105 trucks. Over the past 24 hours, their personnel have processed 16% of the normal number of vehicles,” the Belarusian border authority noted.
A short queue of trucks heading to the European Union is observed on the Lithuanian direction.
Queues of passenger cars have been recorded only for entry into Poland. The longest queue of 330 cars is at the Terespol border checkpoint (Brest on the Belarusian side). Its personnel have admitted 22% of vehicles to its territory.
