MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) - One of the tank units of the Armed Forces of Belarus has completed its training in the Russian Federation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
“The training was structured around T-72B3 tanks, because our battalion is currently being rearmed with domestically modernized T-72BM2 tanks, which have a similar fire control system. Our servicemen gained valuable experience and learned how to operate with the new weapons system. I believe this is very important because all the instructors who trained us have experience in the special military operation and teach directly what is needed on the line of contact,” one of the servicemen from the mechanized brigade said.
The acquired competencies are already being integrated into the daily training practices of the units.
