MINSK, 9 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ is considering the possibility of shipping compact vehicles and machines to Guinea-Bissau. The possibility was mentioned by OAO MTZ Director General Sergei Avramenko as Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embalo visited the Belarusian company, BelTA has learned.
The MTZ CEO personally arranged a presentation of MTZ tractors for the Guinea-Bissau president.
Sergei Avramenko said: “We presented various models of our machines and vehicles that can be used in Guinea-Bissau’s farmlands before Mr. Embalo. And we will continue negotiating the locations where our products can be used to improve workforce productivity in the agrarian sector and yields of the crops. I am convinced we will find contact points. First of all, we are going to talk about compact vehicles and machines made by Smorgon Assembly Plant and Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units.”
The guests also visited a tractor assembly building and the company’s museum.
Smorgon Assembly Plant and Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units (BZTDiA) are part of the holding company MTZ.
