Army general praises cohesion of Belarusian, Russian troops during joint drills

MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Head of the Main Department of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of Belarus Andrei Nekrashevich spoke highly of the cohesion of the Belarusian and Russian troops during one of the drill events at the Osipovichsky training ground that was held as part of the Belarus-Russia joint military drills Allied Resolve 2022, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

“The drills are proceeding in line with the plan, today is the eighth day already. The troops have practiced defensive operations. After the mock enemy was stopped, the enemy tried to undertake an offensive, including using a tactical landing force. During today's drills, the troops practiced destroying the enemy, including with the help of rocket-powered artillery and aircraft,” Andrei Nekrashevich said.

“As the person in charge of this drill event, I would like to praise the high level of professionalism and interaction between the Belarusian and Russian military personnel, which enabled them to efficiently and quickly fulfill the tasks set for the exercise,” Andrei Nekrashevich said.
