MINSK, 9 April (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Mikhail Orda as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Mongolia, BelTA has learned.
“As for Mongolia, I must say I was surprised you agreed to go there. But I was told you are practically Mongolian: that you know the country well and are ready to work and get results. We have excellent ties with Mongolian leadership. The president there is a down-to-earth, good, sensible man. But we need to start working with Mongolia,” the head of state said.
