Belarus, Algeria preparing for second session of trade, economic cooperation commission

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarusian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lukashevich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (non-resident) Toufik Djouama on 8 April, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The first deputy minister of foreign affairs and the ambassador discussed the implementation of the arrangements reached during the visit of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Algeria in December 2025.

“Special attention was paid to the preparation of the second session of the joint commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation as well as to the implementation of bilateral projects,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
