MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - The immersive VR project Chagall’s Workshop will be presented at the National Art Museum of Belarus during the Days of the Russian Museum, Director General of the State Russian Museum Alla Manilova told the media in Minsk on 7 April, BelTA has learned.
“The advent of artificial intelligence and multimedia has allowed us to create Chagall's Workshop, the latest immersive VR project of the Russian Museum. Any visitor can put on VR goggles and actually feel what it is like to enter Chagall’s working studio. It creates a fantastic impression, because here the visitors can approach the easel and draw, see how the master lived and worked, view ceramics, sculptures, books. Hear the voices of Marc Chagall and his wife and muse Bella Rosenfeld, generated by artificial intelligence,” Alla Manilova said.
According to her, this project will complement the single masterpiece exhibition of Marc Chagall’s painting The Promenade as part of the Days of the Russian Museum from 8 to 10 April. The visitors will be able to see the painting from 8 April through 6 July.
