MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - More than 1000 trucks are queuing at the Belarusian border to enter the European Union, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
The busiest route runs via Kukuryki (Kozlovichi on the Belarusian side), with 670 trucks waiting to enter Poland. The Polish checkpoint has processed 59% of the normal number of vehicles. More than 170 trucks are queuing to enter Poland via Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa). Over the past 24 hours, the Polish checkpoint has cleared 17%of the normal number of vehicles.
More than 180 trucks are waiting in front of the Lithuanian checkpoints Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Salcininkai (Benyakoni). The Lithuanian checkpoints have processed 19% and 56% of the normal number of vehicles.
At least 920 trucks and 30 cars are queuing at the Polish checkpoints Terespol (Brest) and Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa). Over the past 24 hours, the Polish checkpoints have cleared 33% of the normal number of vehicles.
