MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – It is important to support promising ideas and investment proposals in order to promote sustainable growth of regional economies, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Tatiana Bantsevich said during an online meeting to consider the draft five-year programs of social and economic development of Gantsevichi, Drogichin, Malorita and Stolin districts of Brest Oblast, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
The meeting analyzed the actual state of affairs and problems of local enterprises, as well as ways to increase their efficiency. "The future of many organizations of the real sector is associated with their ability to rebuild their business processes quickly and wisely, shift the emphasis in marketing strategies, systematically work with commodity distribution networks, and repurpose if necessary," Tatiana Bantsevich noted.
She also noted that regions can ensure sustainable economic growth in the long term only by improving the business climate and stimulating investment. "It is important to support those promising ideas and proposals that have the potential to become locomotives of growth and stimulate new jobs," the deputy minister emphasized.
