MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UAE signed an agreement on cooperation on 18 February, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian delegation is led by BelCCI Chairman Mikhail Myatlikov and includes representatives of the companies participating in the Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition at the Gulfood F&B event in Dubai. After the successful launch of the exhibition, the delegation headed to Emirate of Fujairah for a meeting with the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Following the negotiations, the parties signed a cooperation agreement. The Belarusian side also presented its enterprises, organizations, products and services to potential partners.
"Within the framework of the agreement we have agreed to host a business mission from the Fujairah chamber in Belarus in early June. Most likely, this will happen within the framework of the Belagro exhibition," Mikhail Myatlikov stated.
The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1981. It aims to develop commercial, industrial and agricultural activities in the Emirate, coordinate with the concerned authorities and represent the chamber in all matters related to trade, industry and agriculture, protect the interests of the members, strengthen ties between them. It also ensures the development of cooperation with similar organizations in the UAE and abroad.
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the largest business association in the Republic of Belarus. The BelCCI has more than 2,600 members across almost all segments of the economy: from legal consulting and logistics to food production, textiles and heavy engineering.
