MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) – Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich visited OOO Amkodor-Lesmash and assessed the implementation of an investment project designed to increase the production capacity, representatives of the holding company Amkodor told BelTA.
During the visit special attention was paid to the completion of the investment project “Expansion of existing capacity to make forestry industry machines”. The project is on the list of promising import-substituting investment initiatives on making civilian goods. It has been approved by the governments of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which underscores its strategic importance.
The deputy prime minister was presented with the enterprise’s upgraded manufacturing facilities, implemented technological solutions, and key stages of the project’s implementation. Special attention was paid to the development of the production base and the capabilities for producing modern Amkodor forestry machines.
The implementation of the project has made it possible to significantly increase the level of technological equipment of the enterprise and expand its production potential, providing additional opportunities for further development of the forestry machinery sector.
