Belarusian manufacturers featured at Agro Food Drink Tech Expo in Georgia

MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) - Belarus is taking part in the Agro Food Drink Tech Expo in Georgia, BelTA learned from the press service of Belinterexpo at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“Belarusian manufacturers are expanding their export geography by increasing exports, including through developing partnerships in Eastern Europe. Thus, Georgia serves as a promising market and trade and economic hub for enhancing cooperation with the Caucasus region. A network of 'Belarusian House' stores is gaining momentum in many cities, including Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Poti, Kutaisi, and Gori that sell a wide range of food products, beverages, and goods from leading domestic enterprises,” the press service said.

On 28-29 November, Tbilisi brought together representatives from the food industry, agriculture, and technology sectors, and retail chain managers for the international exhibition Agro Food Drink Tech Expo 2025. Belarusian companies traditionally participate as part of the collective exhibition “Belarus. The Taste of Nature."

The exhibition features approximately 80 major industry representatives from Georgia, Türkiye, Italy, Germany, Russia, and Slovakia. Business meetings have been organized with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk to introduce retail chain executives and Georgian business leaders to Belarusian enterprises.

The Belarus. The Taste of Nature exposition organized by Belinterexpo at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry features well-known brands and industry flagships, including the country's largest enterprises. For instance, the stand of the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom is exhibtiing confectionery, pastila and marmalade, and sweets from companies such as Slodych Confectionery Factory, Krasny Pischevik, Kommunarka, Krasny Mozyryanin and Spartak. A wide range of baby food from Gamma Vkusa and canned products from Malorita Canning and Vegetable Drying Plant are also on display.

The exposition also features rapeseed oil, blended vegetable oils, mayonnaise and mayonnaise-based sauces, ketchups, mustard, and margarine product samples from Minsk Margarine Plant and  Mashpishcheprod, which specializes in potato processing and manufacture of potato-based products, malt production, and seed roasting. A wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, dessert items, and spirits are also prominently showcased.

Babushkina Krynka, one of Belarus' largest dairy producers, has brought to Tbilisi cheeses, milk-based candies, butter, glazed curd bars, ultra-pasteurized milk, and new products such as dry mixes for milkshakes and dry mixes for making ice cream with strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate flavors. Baranovichi Poultry Farm is exhibiting assorted colored chicken eggs in several packaging formats.

The Belarusian  also features  Glubokoye Milk Canning Factory (with a variety of cheeses and canned dairy products, including the famous Belarusian condensed milk), Lida Milk Canning Factory (dry milk, cream, whey, butter, and a broad line of cheeses), Orsha Meat Canning Factory (canned meat products, baby food preserves, meat pâtés, and more) and the meat processing plants from Volkovyssk and Pinsk.

The Belarusian exhibition will be running until 29 November. The Agro Food Drink Tech Expo 2025 serves as a key regional platform for sharing expertise in the production and sales of food industry products and for promoting Belarusian goods in the Georgian market.
