MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) - About a third of the investment of the organizations of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate were directed to the development of agriculture last year, Head of the Belarus President Property Management Department Yuri Nazarov said prior to board meeting on 30 May, BelTA has learned.
“Investment in production, in human capital is our absolute priority. We have defined this task as a top priority for us. No development is possible at any enterprise and organization without investment. If there is no development, there is no future. Therefore, all sectors are important for us. Now we are implementing about 40 investment projects,” said Yuri Nazarov.
The board meeting took stock of the progress made in their implementation. “They are at different stages of implementation. In some of them we are already assessing the effect we have received,” the head of the Belarus President Property Management Department added.
According to Yuri Nazarov, the Belarus President Property Management Directorate has an optimal structure of investment. “More than 55% of investment goes to the active part of fixed assets - purchase of machinery, equipment, vehicles, tools, inventory. About 30% is allocated for construction and installation works. We invest in development. The trends are good,” he emphasized.

In 2024, fixed capital investment of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate organizations reached Br400 million. If we look at the previous year, over 30% of the total investment was earmarked for agricultural production. Such sectors as health resort treatment, manufacturing industry, environmental protection and tourism activities, real estate got 13% of investment each. About 20% of investment was directed to projects in other areas of activity carried out by organizations. Among them is construction sector, hospitality business, transport and warehousing, housing utilities, trade, catering, professional, scientific and technical activities.
