MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Hanna Tserakh of Belarus has claimed champion titles at the Russian Track Cycling Championship and the Russian Track Cycling Cup in St. Petersburg, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian claimed gold in the points race at the Russian Track Cycling Championship. Top Ten also featured Iryna Chuyankova (5th), Taisa Naskovich (7th), and Valeryia Stsyapanets (10th). At the Russian Track Cycling Cup Hanna Tserakh won the individual pursuit race setting a new Belarusian record of 3:25.326. Mikita Babovich of Belarus won the men’s junior individual pursuit race at the All-Russian competitions.
Belarusian athletes clinched four medals at the regional competitions at the Lokosphinx track in St. Petersburg. The Belarusian cyclists won two silver and two bronze medals.
