MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Head of the Belarus President Administration Dmitry Krutoi met with Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, in Beijing on 27 April as part of the official visit to China, the Belarus President Administration told BelTA.
The parties welcomed the progress in implementing the agreements reached during their talks in Minsk in September 2025. In particular, a memorandum on deepening cooperation has been prepared by the Belarus President Administration and the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. The Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China have signed an agreement on interaction to strengthen human resources capacity. Issues of information security and the use of Chinese experience in improving the political system are being discussed in a substantive manner.
Dmitry Krutoi noted that preparations are currently being finalized for a new directive of the Belarusian president on the practical implementation of the all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. The head of the Belarus President Administration emphasized that the document is expected to include a number of concrete steps to elevate the status of bilateral relations and deepen cooperation, as well as a list of sectoral projects and target economic indicators. The directive will be as practically oriented as possible, while containing a clear political message: deepening partnership with China is a fundamental national interest for Belarus.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the schedule of high-level contacts, cooperation on the international arena with an emphasis on Belarus’ participation in the implementation of Chinese global initiatives, the intensification of interregional interaction, primarily trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as experience exchange in fighting corruption, improving discipline and the effectiveness of senior officials.
