MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Belarus plans to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan in civil engineering, the Architecture and Construction Ministry press service told BelTA.
A delegation of the Architecture and Construction Ministry led by First Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Vladimir Naumovich is in the Republic of Kazakhstan on a visit. The delegation includes representatives of OAO Beryozastroymaterialy, OAO Keramin, OAO Gomelglass, OAO Spetszhelezobeton, OAO Mogilevliftmash, TOO Keramin-Astana, and other companies.
A meeting was held with Kazakh Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Kuandyk Kazhkenov, Chairman of the Construction and Housing and Utilities Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Zhunisbekov, and Director of TOO AralSoda Sanzhar Ospankulov. Matters of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including regulation of construction and architectural work, experience of using modern ICT in civil engineering design, the creation of a unified digital platform, and the supply of construction materials from Belarusian enterprises to Kazakhstan. The sides agreed to continue cooperation and experience sharing.
A memorandum of cooperation and understanding was also signed between OAO Gomelglass and TOO AralSoda. The Belarusian delegation invited Kazakh partners to the upcoming international architecture and construction expo BUDEXPO, which will take place in the Belarusian capital city on 9-11 September.
