Belarusian rhythmic gymnasts win 11 medals at tournament in Georgia

MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Belarusian female athletes have won over a dozen medals at the Keti Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Tbilisi, the press service of the Belarusian Gymnastics Association told BelTA.

The Belarusian team boasts three gold, four silver and four bronze medals. Among seniors, Hanna Kamenshchykava contributed four medals, triumphing in hoop, ball and the all-around, while rounding out the top three with ribbon. Nicole Liauta also became a four-time medalist, with three silvers (hoop, clubs, ribbon) and bronze in the all-around.

In the junior category, Belarusian Vera Konopatskaya finished second in the ribbon routine and third with clubs, while Anastasiya Ilyenka posted the third result in the hoop program. The competition in Tbilisi also featured rhythmic gymnasts from Georgia, Russia, Latvia, Moldova, Cyprus, Azerbaijan and Syria.
