MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – Belarus continues its run to qualify for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, BelTA has learned.
Belarus will play Italy, Denmark and Switzerland in Group 1 of the second group stage in Cadiz, Spain. Belarus finished first in the first group stage defeating Belgium 11-1 and Moldova 8-4.
Group B of the second group stage will feature Spain, Portugal, Poland and France.
The top two nations from each group will secure their places in Seychelles. The final will take place in May 2025. Belarus took part in the three previous editions: placing fourth in 2024 and failing to reach the playoff in 2019 and 2021. This season Nicolas Alvarado’s team secured bronze at the 2024 Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal.
