MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) - Belarusian athletes have wrapped up their performances at the European Youth Draughts-64 Championship with 18 medals, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Sports Ministry.
The competition program in Kemer, Türkiye, concluded with the classic game tournaments, in which Belarusian athletes won nine medals (four gold, two silver, three bronze). Victories were secured by Pavel Boki (U17), Mikhail Ustimenko (U14), Artem Tikhonov (U20), and Marat Leu (U27). Second places in their respective age groups were claimed by Evgeniya Shved (U20) and Yuliya Shved (U14), while Maria Taranina (U27), Georgy Taranin (U27), and Milana Lapchuk (U11) finished third.

Across all disciplines at the European Youth Draughts-64 Championship (classic, rapid, blitz), Belarusian athletes won a total of 18 medals - six gold, eight silver, and four bronze.
