"On Point"
MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Belarus should be considered as an example of a state that serves its people. Deputy Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Economics Mikhail Delyagin made the statement in a recent episode of BelTA’s On Point project.
“I have always viewed Belarus as an example of a state that serves its people,” said Mikhail Delyagin. At the same time the Russian MP noted that the country’s development proceeds under very unfavorable external conditions.
He also drew attention to the competencies of Belarusian specialists in manufacturing sector. In his opinion, if large-scale modernization of production facilities begins in Russia, attempts will be made to lure away capable specialists from Belarus as quickly as possible.
“Every foreman [from Belarus] will become a construction site manager in Russia. Belarus will simply be picked clean of its capable and honest specialists,” believes Mikhail Delyagin. “And if I were Belarus, I would prepare for this. Because it will happen suddenly. It will happen at a completely private level.”
