Belarus, Tajikistan intend to develop cooperation in media sector

MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) - Cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in media sector was discussed during a meeting hosted by the Belarusian Information Ministry on 10 July, BelTA learned from the ministry.

Belarus' Information Minister Aleksandr Karlyukevich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus Mahmadsharif Hakdod discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the media field, participation of representatives of the media communities and writers in international events held in Belarus and Tajikistan.

The parties also identified the measures to implement the cooperation agreement signed by Belarus' Information Ministry and the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan during the official visit of Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon to Belarus on 28 June of this year.
