MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – The conflict in the Middle East is no longer confined to Iran, it has engulfed other countries as well, and what is unfolding there now is a war driven by superstition and madness, Sergei Karnaukhov, PhD in Law, expert on security services, said in a new episode of BelTA’s project V Teme [On Point].
He noted: “What we are witnessing in the world today is… an absolutely superstitious war, deranged and insane.”
The expert added that, according to the attackers’ design, Iran should not exist on the world map. “Greater Israel is what is on Israel’s agenda. And something tells me that pacifying this conflict will be practically impossible. Direct negotiations are currently underway between Lebanon and Israel, but there is an organization there called Hezbollah. In the perception of an ordinary person, Hezbollah is about rocket launchers, flip-flops, shorts, and some people running around in turbans. In reality, it is the key political force in Lebanon, it is Lebanon’s army. They hold a majority in parliament together with their allies. There are several other forces and parties that make up the parliamentary majority. And they form the backbone of Lebanon’s state apparatus. When Israel says, ‘Disarm the terrorist Hezbollah, remove Hezbollah from Lebanon,’ the question is: how do you remove Lebanon from Lebanon? Israel doesn’t want to listen to anything. And this is precisely a detachment from political realism. So they will continue to destroy Lebanon. As soon as the Yemeni Houthis start blocking another strait, a war will begin there. In Syria, there is an outright catastrophe that no one wants to notice. Alawites are being massacred there. Almost all Christians have been wiped out there. Kurds are being destroyed there. It is a complete disaster,” said Sergei Karnaukhov.
