Voter turnout in Belarus' parliamentary elections at 46.06% as of 12.00

MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) - As of 12.00 the voter turnout in Belarus' parliamentary elections totaled 46.06%. The turnout in three Belarusian oblasts exceeded 50%, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Vadim Ipatov told the media on 17 November, BelTA has learned.

According to the CEC, more than half of the registered voters cast their ballots in Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast and Mogilev Oblast. It is 50.39%, 51.6% and 51.71% respectively.

The voter turnout in Brest Oblast reached 41.2%, with Grodno Oblast, Minsk Oblast and Minsk making it 46.27%, 47.4% and 37.32% respectively so far.
