Minsk celebrates Labor Day in Victory Park

MINSK, 1 May (BelTA) – As Belarus marks Labor Day on 1 May, Victory Park has become the centerpiece of the celebrations in the capital, BelTA has learned.

The celebration began with a flower-laying ceremony at the Minsk Hero City Obelisk and continued directly in Victory Park. The venue will host a ceremony honoring labor dynasties from across the country, followed by a concert featuring Belarusian pop stars and creative ensembles. As part of the nationwide campaign Women Who Defined an Era, family dynasties, represented by more than 50 women, will be honored.
May Day venues of 15 trade unions representing various industries presented the best achievements and new developments of enterprises, as well as the skills and creativity of workers from different fields. In addition, visitors have the opportunity to take photos in themed photo zones and even try on different professions.
