MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov met with Akim (Governor) of Karaganda Region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Astana.
The talks were attended by Akim of Karaganda Meiram Kozhukhov, heads of Karaganda Region departments responsible for agriculture, industry, entrepreneurship, housing and utilities, and tourism, Ruslan Strakhar, Director General of Mogilevliftmash, as well as representatives of several Kazakhstani enterprises.

The parties exchanged information on the current agenda of Belarus-Kazakhstan relations, including at the regional level. The parties discussed promising areas for developing cooperation between the regions of Belarus and Karaganda Region, as well as between the cities of Gomel and Karaganda.
The parties agreed to update the roadmaps of agreements between the Karaganda Region Akimat and the oblast executive committees of Belarus, and to work out the participation of representatives of Karaganda Region in the international specialized exhibition Belagro 2026 in Minsk.
On the same day, Aleksei Bogdanov visited Rosbelkar, which markets equipment from Minsk Tractor Plant in the oblast, Karagandalift, and the Karaganda Region Housing Fund Modernization Center, with which agreements were reached to explore a project for assembling elevators from a Belarusian enterprise in Karaganda Region.
