Belarus, Vietnam seek to deepen cooperation in education

MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vladimir Borovikov met with President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Chau Van Minh on 26 February, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties discussed a wide range of matters related to S&T cooperation, including the exchange of visits and implementation of joint projects.

The parties also touched upon the expansion of cooperation in education and training of Vietnamese specialists in higher educational institutions of Belarus.

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were established on 24 January 1992. Political interaction between the two countries, built on friendship, trust and mutual understanding, is gaining momentum. The two countries maintain dialogue at the highest level.
