MOSCOW, 25 August (BelTA) – There is no threat to safety of Russian citizens and business in Belarus, Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov told the media on 25 August.
“We are closely monitoring the safety of our citizens and our business, the observation of our business interests. We are closely monitoring the situation. We proceed from the fact that nothing threatens our citizens or our business in Belarus,” Dmitry Peskov said.
When asked about possible damage to Russian companies in connection with the situation in Belarus, Dmitry Peskov said: “It would be extremely undesirable. But, in fact, there are no grounds for this now.”
