BREST, 7 December (BelTA) - Enterprises in Brest Oblast have signed contracts worth $7 million with Chinese partners, BelTA learned from the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.
A delegation from Brest Oblast, led by Brest Oblast Governor Piotr Parkhomchik, is on a visit to China. The program includes a series of meetings, negotiations, and contract signings. It also includes a meeting with the leadership of Anhui Province.
The first stop is Shanghai. Aleksei Stepanovich, Director General of the management company of the Brestmyasomolprom concern, signed commercial documents with Chinese partners. Bereza Meat Processing Plant and Kobrin Butter and Cheese Making Factory will supply their products.
“Today, the Brestmyasomolprom concern signed contracts totaling over $7.3 million. A remote agreement was also signed with the Brest Distillery Belalco for product supplies to the People’s Republic of China. The day continues, and further results are expected,” Brest Oblast Vice Governor Mikhail Batsenko said.
Next on the packed business agenda are negotiations on greenhouse technology exchange.
The visit of the Brest Oblast delegation will last until 11 December.
