MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Organizations of Belarus and the Russian Federation intend to reconcile next year's tariffs on oil transit by 25 December, the press service of the Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry told BelTA.
The timeframe is specified by guidelines on changing tariffs on the services of transporting (transit) oil via cross-country pipelines located in Belarus' territory. The guidelines were approved by the Belarusian Economy Ministry and the Federal Tariff Service of the Russian Federation on 27 January 2010.
The Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry told BelTA that negotiations between Belarusian pipeline transport organizations and a Russian transport organization on how much the tariffs should be indexed next year have not been finished yet.
