Belarus’ PM explores IT potential of major Russian company

MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin toured the major Russian company Sberbank as a part of the official visit of the Belarusian government delegation to Russia, BelTA learned from the government press service.

The prime minister was briefed on the development of generative artificial intelligence and the capabilities of GigaChat, Sberbank's large language model, used to address various tasks in public administration, business, medicine, security and education.
Aleksandr Turchin was also shown the X Threat Intelligence platform, designed to combat cyber threats. This platform provides cybersecurity experts, developers and IT administrators with up-to-date threat information through a user-friendly interface or API, which enhances business protection.
The delegation explored remote monitoring solutions of the healthcare company SberHealth implemented using smart medical devices such as blood pressure monitors, stethoscopes and health cameras. Currently, the remote monitoring database includes over 500,000 patients with chronic non-communicable diseases from 70 regions of Russia.

The flagship educational project School 21 was also introduced during the visit. This digital technology school offers anyone over 18 the opportunity to acquire an in-demand IT profession, regardless of prior knowledge or experience in the field. All graduates are successfully employed in major companies throughout Russia. The project has been actively scaling, and is now operating in 15 cities across the country.
