Belarus launches competition for SME investment projects

MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs has announced a competition for investment and business projects from small and medium-sized enterprises, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.

State financial support will be provided in two forms: loans (the provision of funds on a repayable basis) and property leasing (the provision of assets under financial lease terms).

Eligible projects must fall within the following priority areas: the creation, development, or expansion of production, including the performance of work and provision of services; the organization, development, and sale of export-oriented and import-substituting products; the production of goods aimed at energy and resource conservation; and the introduction of new technologies.

This support can finance the construction, reconstruction, modernization, and repair of capital structures (buildings and facilities), isolated premises, restoration work, and the installation of all types of equipment. Funding is also available for the purchase of buildings, premises, machinery, equipment, vehicles, tools, components, raw materials, software, and related goods and services.

The application deadline is 15 December 2025. Applications are accepted on business days during office hours at the organizer’s address or by post at 11 Serafimovicha Street, Room 203, P.O. Box 115, Minsk, 220033.
