MINSK, 3 March (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed new ambassadors of Belarus to Slovakia, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania, BelTA has learned.
Igor Fisenko has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Slovak Republic. Until now, he held the position of Head of the Europe Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Yuri Nikolaichik has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Zimbabwe. He will assume the position of head of the diplomatic mission after working as Deputy Head of the Directorate - Head of the Africa and Middle East Department of the Asia and Africa Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dmitry Krasovsky has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Republic of Tanzania on a concurrent basis. He currently serves as the Ambassador of Belarus to Kenya and concurrently to Uganda and Ethiopia, and also holds the position of Permanent Representative of Belarus to the African Union, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat).
