
MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian football national team will open the UEFA Women’s Nations League new season with two fixtures in Serbia, BelTA has learned.
In Group B3 Vladimir Shindikov’s team will face Hungary in Loznica on 21 February. The match will be umpired by a team of referees from Portugal led by referee Sandra Bastos. The match will kick off at 22.00 (Minsk time).
On 21 February, Serbia will take on Finland in Stara Pazova. The Serbian city will host a match between Belarus and Serbia on 25 February. The timetable of other fixtures are as follows: Finland vs Belarus (4 April), Belarus vs Servia (8 April), Belarus vs Finland (30 May), and Hungary vs Belarus (3 June).
Once the group stage is over, the winners of the four quarters of League B will get promoted to League A. Runners-up will hold fixtures with third-place teams from League A. Last year Belarus finished first in its Group in League C and got promoted to League B.
