MINSK, 21 June (BelTA) - Heading into their second FIBA European Women’s Basketball Championship Group F tie against Great Britain Belarus will hope to bounce back from a 48-54 loss against Serbia in the Round 2 opener, BelTA has learnt.
If Belarus succeed in the Great Britain tie on 21 June they will book a place in the FIBA European Women’s Basketball Championship quarterfinal. In other matches of group F Serbia will face Croatia in the Balkan derby, while France will take on Czechia.
Group F standings are as follows: France 6 points, Belarus - 5, Czechia - 5, Great Britain - 4, Serbia - 4 and Croatia - 3 points.
Group E matches ended with the following results: Spain 80-44 Slovakia, Sweden 69-58 Montenegro, Turkey 66-46 Italy.

Round 2 of the competition will conclude on 24 June. Four best teams from each of two six-strong groups will advance to the quarterfinal of the Final Round that is due on 26-27 June. Semifinals will be played on 28 June. The third-place match and the final will take place on 30 June.
