MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian National Scientific and Practical Center of Sports delivers great results, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Belarusian Basketball Federation Maksim Ryzhenkov said at the opening of the international conference “Sport. Medicine. Science” marking the 10th anniversary of the Belarusian National Scientific and Practical Center of Sports, BelTA has learned.
According to Maksim Ryzhenkov, the National Scientific and Practical Center of Sports is a center which unites both science and education. In his words, the center teaches both the athlete and the coach how to approach the top form without injuries and to avoid serious injuries during competitions.
“What we see in the center today is fantastic. It is the world class level. Many countries envy us,” Maksim Ryzhenkov said adding that the facility employs highly-qualified specialists.
According to the chairman of the federation, this scientific, educational and medical complex fulfills its tasks at the highest level.
He thanked the staff of the center for their work that help athletes quickly recover and get ready for the training and competition process.
