MOSCOW, 26 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ and Russia’s representatives will meet in Minsk in March to review the effect of the treaty on security guarantees within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Maria Zakharova noted that the security situation of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is jointly analyzed during meetings of interagency delegations led by Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekreta and Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Grushko. “They have been appointed Russia’s and Belarus’ representatives on reviewing the effect of the treaty on security guarantees within the framework of the Union State. I would also like to remind you that the first meeting of the kind took place in Moscow in September 2025. The second one is scheduled to take place in Minsk in mid-March,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman said.
