MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – Minsk Oblast Days got underway in China's Chongqing on 21 March, BelTA learned from Spokesperson for the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Darya Markovskaya.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minsk Oblast Governor Anatoly Isachenko emphasized the importance of this event and invited everyone to attend it. Minsk Oblast Days are expected to introduce Chinese people to this Belarusian region and its cultural traditions.
The Belarusian delegation includes the governor and senior officials of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, as well as business people, artisans and musicians.
On 22 March the Belarusian delegation will take part in a business forum to discuss cooperation prospects in tourism, manufacturing industry and investment between Minsk Oblast and Chongqing. A number of documents are to be signed during the event. They include a plan of exchanges and cooperation for 2019-2020, letters of intent between companies and agreements on educational partnerships.
On 23 March the delegation will tour the best agricultural companies of Yubei District and open an office of Molodechno Meat Packing Plant in Chongqing.More about Society
