International events calendar of Belarusian Parliament announced 

MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) - Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko spoke about the immediate international events calendar of the deputy corps at a sitting of the second session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation, BelTA learned. 

"Last week the Council of the House of Representatives approved the plan of international parliamentary cooperation of the House of Representatives for 2025. Thus, we have planned a number of important international events in February," Igor Sergeyenko said. “These days in Moscow, the chairmen of the standing commissions on international affairs and on national security of the House of Representatives will take part in a meeting of the chairmen of the committees (commissions) of the parliaments of the CSTO member states to discuss international relations, defense and security.” 

In February in Baku, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Vadim Ipatov will take part in a meeting of the Executive Council and the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly as a member of the delegation of the National Assembly of Belarus, the Speaker said. “The meeting will review the issue of granting the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus the observer status in this international organization. Joining such a representative international organization will be another landmark event in the history of Belarusian parliamentarism," he stressed. 
"This month our delegation also plans to take part in the 24th Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Minsk and Moscow will also host meetings of commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia," Igor Sergeyenko added.
