MINSK, 19 September (BelTA) - On 19 September, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Shanghai Andrei Andreyev took part in a ceremony to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between Belarusian State University and Huzhou University of Zhejiang Province, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Shanghai.
The memorandum signed by BSU projector Konstantin Kozadayev and Vice President of Huzhou University Li Qingfeng provides for joint research projects, educational programs, student exchanges and other areas of cooperation.
In his speech, Andrei Andreyev stressed that the signing of the memorandum between the two universities creates a practical basis for fulfilling the goals in the field of Belarusian-Chinese scientific and educational cooperation set by the leaders of Belarus and China on 15 September2022 in the joint declaration on establishing relations of all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership.
Huzhou City University, Zhejiang Province has more than 100 years of history. Currently, the university specializes in a wide range of academic disciplines and has achieved internationally recognized results in the field of research and teaching of mathematics, clinical medicine and engineering. In 2017, the university opened the Intercultural Research Center, dealing with international projects, including with Belarus.
