MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent Easter greetings to Belarusian Christians, who celebrate Easter on 31 March 2024, BelTA has learned.
“I sincerely congratulate you on the celebration of Easter. This celebration brings the deep meaning of healing faith in eternal ideas of good and justice. The Resurrection Sunday unites us around genuine Christian values. It turns us towards original qualities of the Belarusian nation: self-sacrifice, brotherly supportiveness, and the eagerness to serve the native land,” the message reads.
On Easter days the heart of every believer is filled with great joy, which makes spirit stronger and inspires hope for a bright future, the head of state noted.
“May Easter inspire you to do good deeds. May it fill your life with love. I wish strong health, happiness, peace, and accord to you and your loved ones,” Aleksandr Lukashenko wished.
