MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko had another phone call on 15 August – he talked to the U.S. president’s representative John Coale, the press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA.
The phone call took place in continuation of the head of state’s conversation with President of the United States of America Donald Trump. Upon Donald Trump’s instructions John Coale called the Belarusian leader.
During the conversation the parties exchanged opinions about the agenda of the forthcoming talks in Alaska. Once again (after the conversation with Donald Trump) the Belarus president presented his point of view on the situation in Ukraine. Upon the initiative of the American side the conversation also touched upon the matter of Belarus-USA bilateral interaction and possible reciprocal steps.
