Lukashenko: Growing contradictions in the world pose a danger at national, global levels

MINSK, 25 November, Minsk (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to participants of the 9th International Conference “Security in the Context of Transforming Threats: Present-Day Problems and Solutions” on the opening of the forum timed to the 75th anniversary of the National Security Institute, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, the modern world is in constant transformation caused by the crisis of the world order, its institutions and organizations, and the international social and political situation is characterized by the appearance of new challenges and threats, aggravation of conflicts and contradictions that pose a serious danger at the national and global levels.

“Chaos controlled from the outside is imposed through ‘color revolutions', hybrid wars and information aggression. It is possible to counter this only with the consolidation of efforts, the development of unified approaches to the protection of national and regional interests,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced that the discussion platform will enable domestic and foreign experts to consider essential aspects of security, to exchange opinions and share experience in solving the most urgent problems, to determine the main areas for further interaction.
