Brest Business Forum yields first agreements in social sector, healthcare

BREST, 28 April (BelTA) - Brest is hosting the international business contact forum “First Region - A Territory of Success” on 28-29 April. The first cooperation agreements in the social sector and healthcare have been signed, BelTA has learned.

A memorandum of cooperation on social sector and healthcare was signed between Brest Oblast and the Republic of Serbia. Agreements were also concluded with the Association of Chinese Companies, signed by Brest Oblast Vice Governor Mikhail Batsenko, and Secretary General of the Association of Chinese Companies Zhao Qingqiu.

A memorandum of cooperation in healthcare between the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Jinchang Municipal People’s Government was signed by Viktor Mikhallovsky, Head of the Healthcare Department of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee, and Zhang Jun, Deputy Mayor of the Jinchang Municipal People’s Government.

A memorandum of cooperation in education between the Pinsk City Hall and the Jinchang Municipal People’s Government was signed by Valery Rebkovets, Chairman of the Pinsk City Hall, and Zhang Jun, Deputy Mayor of the Jinchang Municipal People’s Government.

A cooperation agreement between Brest Central City Hospital and Chongqing Jinshan Science & Technology (Group) Co. Limited was signed by Chief Physician Andrei Mokrov and the management of Chongqing Jinshan Science & Technology (Group) Co. Limited.

A memorandum of cooperation between Brest Central City Hospital and Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was signed by Chief Physician Andrei Mokrov and Liu Ning, Deputy Chief Physician of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The two-day forum program covers key areas of social development and economy. More than 100 representatives from various countries have gathered in Brest these days, including from China, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Nigeria, Indonesia, and India. Heads of several diplomatic missions in Belarus, as well as official and business delegations, have also joined the discussions.
