BREST, 28 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Belarus Jozef Migaš outlined new areas of cooperation with Brest Oblast at the international business contact forum “First Region: Territory of Success” in Brest on 28-29 April, BelTA has learned.
“We have made good progress in sports, culture, and education, and I want to continue this work. It is important. We speak similar languages and maintain close relations. We need to show our capabilities and advantages wherever we can. When we come from Slovakia, we enter through Brest. This border city is a gateway to your country. So we want to make the most of your strengths while offering our own where we can help,” Jozef Migaš noted.
Over 100 participants from Europe, Asia and Africa have arrived in Brest for the international forum. The forum’s business program covers key areas of the economy and social development. It is attended by officials, heads of business associations, and diplomats. The program features a number of presentations, discussions on cooperation strategies, and the signing of agreements and contracts.
