MOSCOW, 26 November (BelTA) – The leaders of the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries will meet in St. Petersburg at the end of the year, BelTA has learned.
"At the end of December, leaders of the CIS countries will gather for a traditional friendly meeting in St. Petersburg where they will talk in an informal setting," Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters. No documents are planned to be signed during the meeting, he noted.
"St. Petersburg will host a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on 25 December. At the request of the Armenian side, the meeting will be organized on Russian territory, although Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan will chair the meeting," Yury Ushakov said.
